Located in the heart of Cambridge, Frost House Bed & Breakfast is just a twelve-minute walk from Harvard Square (exactly one mile). The Porter Square subway station is around the corner, one stop from Harvard Square. Continue on the subway for fifteen minutes and you'll be in downtown Boston.
Frost
House offers two large, fully furnished one-bedroom apartments (700
square feet) as well as a Studio (235 square feet).
The apartments feature three rooms plus full bath and fully equipped
kitchen with gas stove, water filter, microwave, coffee maker and
toaster.
The Studio has a private bath, mini refrigerator and coffee maker.
All three units have private entry ways, the apartments also have rear
emergency exits.
Located on the second and third floors, plenty of windows fill each
unit with natural light all afternoon.
Frost House is on a lovely tree lined street, this area boasts the tallest trees in the entire Cambridge area. The apartments and studio have hardwood floors, the furniture is very simple and natural, all the sheets are 100% cotton.
Digital
cable TV is included, with nearly 100 channels and on-screen guide. DVD
players as well, with the best video store in Cambridge just two blocks
away. High-speed wireless internet covers all three units.
Free long distance is available to anywhere in the United States. Free parking is available in our private lot. The building has a laundry room with multiple washers and dryers.
Adjacent to Massachusetts Avenue (the central artery through Cambridge), Porter Square has a myriad of restaurants, coffee shops and a 24-hour gourmet deli. A large supermarket is just minutes away. There are also a number of small colorful shops in the area where tourists from out of town can find lovely unique gifts to bring back home.
The
comfortable setting and intentionally simple décor, with
original works of art, woven rugs and quiet atmosphere, far outweighs
the impersonal quality of a hotel and at a much lower price!
